I spent part of three days shooting the Big South Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Lexington, Virginia from 21-23 April.  VMI’s Jasmine Hariston, pictured here, placed seventh in the women’s triple jump to bring home team points for the host school.

This week’s (belated) photo is from the end of the National College Blue Ridge Marathon in Roanoke, Virginia on April 16th.  While there was rain the entire day, conditions after the 5-hour mark were so bad that race organizers were finally forced to close the course, allowing a few intrepid souls to complete the run.
